Start: Anchorage, AK
1. Head east on E 6th Ave/ Continue to follow AK-1 Glenn Hwy.- 34.0 mi
2. Continue on AK-3 N/E Parks Hwy (signs for AK-3 N/Wasilla) - 6.9 mi
3. Turn left at E Palmer-Wasilla Hwy - 1.3 mi (at light by Target)
4. Turn left at S Knik-Goose Bay Rd - 16.5 mi
5. Turn right at W Point Mackenzie Rd - 7.4 mi
(Follow brown state boat launch signs from now on)
6. Turn right at S Burma Rd - 0.2 mi
7. Turn left at W Ayrshire Ave - 2.6 mi
8. Slight right at W Little Su River Rd -
Follow the gravel/dirt road to the campground/boat launch. (Watch for pot holes)
Stay left after the pay booth and follow the road down to the parking lot at the river.
Arrive at: "Little Su landing". Day Use Parking Fee: $5 per vehicle.

1. Head south on Vine Rd at Parks Hwy intersection w/light  -3.4mi
2. Turn right at Goose Bay Rd, follow Knik-Goose Bay Rd -10.4 mi
3. Turn right at W Point Mackenzie Rd - 7.4 mi
(Follow brown state boat launch signs from now on)
4 Turn right at S Burma Rd - 0.2 mi
5. Turn left at W Ayrshire Ave - 2.6 mi
6. Slight right at W Little Su River Rd -

Little Susitna Public Use Facility offers camping and boating access approximately 28 miles south of Wasilla. This beautiful campground/boat launch lies within the Susitna Flats State Game Refuge on the pristine Little Susitna River. The river is famous for its world-class sport fishing. Predominate fish species include Chinook and Coho salmon.

Other species of salmon are present in addition to trout and char. The area is heavily forested with spruce and birch. Opportunities abound to view and photograph the area's wildlife. The game refuge is home to an abundance of wildlife including brown bear, black bear, moose and a variety of waterfowl including a large variety of migratory shore birds. A general store offering food, showers/laundry, storage, and gasoline is located within five miles of the campground
